HOW CAN WE BE PREPARED?

1. Be informed

Get the correct information, knowledge or facts.

"Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21:36

2. Be forewarned

Know what is coming.

"But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty." 2 Timothy 3:1

3. Be strengthened

You will become more effective and win the battles.

"In conclusion be strong – not in yourselves but in the Lord, in the power of his boundless resource. Pray at all times with every kind of spiritual prayer, keeping alert and persistent as you pray for all Christ’s men and women." Ephesians 6:10,18

"Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons, and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord." 1 Samuel 30:6

4. Be equipped

"We have been equipped for the present and for what’s coming." Heb 13:20-21

5. Be prepared

We must be willing to do something for some specific purpose at any time.

"Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction." 2 Timothy 4:2

FIVE THINGS WE NEED TO DO TO PROTECT OURSELVES IN THESE TIMES

1. Seek the Lord before the wrath manifests. (Zephaniah 2:1-3)
2. Seek the Lord God – the maker of heaven and earth. (Acts 17: 24-27)
3. Find refuge in the Lord God. (Psalm 91:1-2)
4. The Lord God alone has healing medicine for this plagues that will come. (Revelations 22:2)
5. The blood of the Son of God is that medicine  Isaiah (53:5)

CHALLENGE:

• Will we be found ready?
  
• Be informed, be forewarned, be strengthened, be equipped, be prepared for what lies ahead.
• Know that God, His Word and His Blood has us covered.
