The Lord Our Shepherd
--
Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” This verse alone is very clear as David declares, that only a personal relationship with God can satisfy us and makes us complete. “I shall not want” speaks of contentment, relationship wise and need wise. Let us then cherish our relationship with God and pursue intimacy with Him. Times like this with uncertainty will come and go, but with a established personal relationship with God, surely we will be able to face life’s circumstances. We have a Shepherd who gave His life for us, how much more can He not give to us all things necessary in this life with Him. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. The Lord is my shepherd, in Him I am complete.
